Rubicon Project is hiring!

Want to work at the 2009 Always On OnMedia “Company of the Year”? Want to work at a place that goes above and beyond token benefits like health, dental, vision insurance, and 401K plans, and throws in perks like generous stock option packages, free gym memberships, free lunch and dinner, healthy snacks and free parties? Parties as a benefit? Yeah, not bad.
The Rubicon Project was founded by a group of people who realize you’re only as good as your team. So, it’s important to us to keep our team happy.
We are currently seeking recent college grads looking for entry level positions to join our Yield Management team. No industry experience required - we are just looking for people who are as motivated as can be, who are excited about working at a fast-paced start up, who love getting stuff done (early!) and who are passionate about the Internet (or at least don’t call it the “facebook machine”.) Oh, yeah, and we need you to start yesterday.
The Ad Network team is also looking to hire a Sales Coordinator to join the LA team immediately. They’re looking for someone with the following qualities:
1. Analytical… solid math mind
2. Lots of energy and hustle
3. Desire to learn and succeed
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal… person will be working with all teams internally, and joining calls with external network partners
5. Interested in learning online advertising
6. Motivated to work in a fast-paced, fun environment
Existing online experience is a plus … experience as a sales coordinator is a big plus… but neither are a requirement. Person will have the ability to eventually move into a client facing role, based on performance.

rubiconproject.com - the Rubicon Project is a group of industry-experienced, aggressive and passionate renegades dedicated to bringing a new level of efficiency to the fragmented Internet advertising space. The founders of the Rubicon Project shook up the online advertising industry in 1998 when they created L90/adMonitor, one of the most successful Internet advertising platforms that served over 3,000 of the web’s most recognized sites, reaching 65% of the Internet population before DoubleClick acquired it.
flukiest.com - Flukiest is a fast growing interactive community for sharing and managing digital media by artists, photographers, designers, musicians, writers, directors, producers, and technologists. Flukiest also provides the technology to launch fast growing interactive communities for members to make new friends or keep in touch with old ones, in addition to providing facilities to store and manage digital media content such as photos and movies.
groundcontrolmag.com - Ground Control is a music magazine started by a team of experienced music journalists who got sick of seeing music magazines that seem to be more devoted to sarcasm than actually discussing music. It’s about people who aren’t ashamed to be considered fans as well as audiophiles, who will admit to getting nervous before interviewing certain artists, who are more interested in telling the artist’s story than telling all. It’s about integrity and appreciation. If we cover it, we like it. That’s about it. We’re not concerned about being the coolest kids on the block…
